Overview
Designing a Modular, Role-Based Dashboard Built for Intelligent Insights
This modular widget system supports an agentic interaction model, where the system continuously monitors operational signals, detects risk or opportunity, and proactively surfaces recommended actions allowing managers to intervene before issues escalate.

Approach
Approach
With no formal roadmap allocation, I framed the dashboard as a high-leverage decision surface rather than a visual refresh. I audited real customer dashboards to understand usage patterns, identified where managers struggled to interpret signals, and scoped a focused Phase 1 that could ship quickly. I partnered closely with Product and Sales leadership to align on priorities and delivered the redesign within two sprints using limited engineering resources.

Solution
Solution
I designed a modular, role-based dashboard that functions as an agent-led decision surface rather than a static reporting layer. In Phase 2, the system expands to continuously monitor operational signals such as staffing coverage, overtime risk, and compliance status and proactively surface issues with clear context and recommended next actions. By combining real-time detection, predictive signals, and human-in-the-loop controls, the dashboard helps managers move from reactive monitoring to proactive intervention, while maintaining transparency and control.
